The performance SO FAR SO CLOSE unfolds, shifts, recycle and reformat the materials that compose the solo CORPUS, created in march 2020. It will occur within the frame of the exhibition* La Ruta Natural by Rinus Van de Velde.

The successive sheddings of the moving body and the constant morphing of several raw matters – into skins, leaves, liana or even shells – sound out our relation to the familiar as much as the unknown.

The minimalist and immersive environment, even though densely inhabited by others art works, questions the dimensions of distance and intimacy. Playing with masks, dissimulation and an ongoing transformation, this in situ piece foils every attempt to assign a permanent identity, and rather surfs the gendernatureculture stakes.
