In her work, choreographer, performer and sound-designer Aline Landreau intertwines textures and environments to question processes of recognition, particularly the possible forms of loss, within performing art. She develops a shifting and primitive identity inside proposals bordering experimental music and visual arts. Her different projects question the conditions of a wider human perception, such as Blur! presented during Open Spaces festival with Tanzfabrik in 2015, The Nest festival in Bahrein, SPLASH festival in Nantes together with Paradise gallery and TU-Nantes, and the solo Vox created in 2016 at Tanztage, Sophiensale Berlin and showed at ImPulsTanz festival Vienna and lately at Lieu Unique in Nantes. Her previous piece Underneath/Souterrains was created in Tanzfabik Berlin in June 2017 and presented at the National choreographic center of Nantes during Le Grand Huit Festival curated by Honolulu. Her solo work Corpus was premiered in March 2020 at TU-Nantes and presented in November 2021 at Cndc Angers. She created in autumn 2021 a museum version of that piece at the FRAC Pays de la Loire and the Musée d’arts of Nantes, playing with proximity. She is currently working on a third part dedicated to young audience named Narcisse.

Dancing since childhood, she graduated from the Formation d'Artiste Chorégraphique and then the Essais master program at CNDC d'Angers under the direction of Emmanuelle Huynh. Aline also works as a performer or assistant with choreographers such as Loïc Touzé, Emmanuelle Huynh and lately with Vincent Dupont, and co-founded in 2010 the artistic platform Météores based in Nantes, that aims to activate a supportive working community within the contemporary performing arts scene, with, among other activities, the festival Champs Magnétiques. Aline Landreau regularly gives workshops, guided by a continuous interest for somatic techniques and improvisation, in various contexts such as schools, hospitals and festivals.
